TRADING VS GAMBLING

TRADING VS GAMBLING

As students, we prepare for different competitive exams be it IIT, NEET, NDA, etc. What is our chance of clearing through the paper? I guess we never know, we just prepare thoroughly for it, trying our best to ace the exam right. So is it gambling because we never know what's gonna happen and still we do it to secure our future? We sleep at night making plans for the next day, what's our surety of waking up the next day?

HOPE -  This four-letter word makes all the difference. When we gamble we hope to qualify for the exam even when we are not prepared enough to do so. And then during the results come all the supernatural powers and we pray for our success even when we have not done anything to achieve it.

The same goes with trading, When we trade with proper risk management, money management, and psychology then we don't call it gambling. But that does not mean traders don't gamble. Every trader has gambled at some point in his or her life. The trades taken based on luck and not with proper analysis are gambled. At such times we just want to pray to god to make our trade profitable with some kind of magic. Which is an absolute disaster for a trader.

When we talk about the stock market it doesn't need to be an example of stock. Life has got the same taste only if you are willing to explore enough. We make our decisions to ace life i.e. looking at the brighter side of the trade. But it is not always possible to be in a win-win situation. So with every bad situation comes a learning lesson, the same goes with trading. When we lose money gambling in the market, then comes a time, the will to learn starts from within. And from this day your perspective of trading as gambling will change. You will learn that losses will always be there and with proper risk management you can handle them well and things will then start to make sense as a trader.

We don't gamble when we take up all the precautions of not falling into a trap. You can never be 100% sure of the next move but a calculated move can make you save your hard earned money and can make you good money too. But again, it is only possible when you give time to market and learn the process. No one is born a trader or engineer or doctor or any such thing. We all decide our fates after coming into this world.

"2 din main paisa double" kind of super strategy comes with gambling and not with trading. Make your own choices. Gambling won't let you stand in the market for a very long time but trading can, so make sure you choose well what you want to do.
 TRADING OR GAMBLING.

Thank you readers for your time.
